The Urban Riparian Symposium, set for February 15–17, 2017 provides an opportunity for natural resource professionals to share ideas, discuss management and policy issues, lessons learned in urban riparian and stream planning, assessment, design, construction, and evaluation. The symposium will include presentations, discussions, receptions and workshops.

Student/Presenter registration is available for $150, but the early bird rate ended on January 7th. Late registration from January 8 – February 8, 2017 will be $200. Registration includes a complimentary membership to the Texas Riparian Association.

The conference will run Thursday Feb. 16 beginning with registration at 8:30 and will conclude Friday at noon.

Pre-conference Workshop Schedule Pre-conference workshops include a field trip and will be held Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 9 am – 4:30 pm. You must register for the workshops and there is an extra fee that covers the room, lunch, and transportation to the field site.

Conference opening and Keynote Presenters will begin Thursday, Feb. 16 starting at 9 am.

Draft Presenter Schedule Concurrent presentations will begin Thursday, Feb. 16 in the afternoon and continue through Friday Morning, Feb. 17. There will be a closing plenary speaker and the conference will end at noon, so no lunch is provided on Friday.

The Poster Session will be held Thursday evening along with the evening reception of drinks and light snacks.

All conference attendees are invited to attend the bi-annual Texas Riparian Association Board Meeting on Wednesday February 15, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the BRC.
